At once both very hip and traditional, Khaneen wanted us to convey through our written content and first hand experiences, the joy of what it feels to celebrate Kuwaiti dishes with all the global influences that encompasses. Communication and collaboration with the brand marketing team as well as site visits and menu tastings enabled us to get a true sense of the feeling behind Khaneen. With colourful photography used for articles, and videos and photography used for Instagram stories the atmosphere, ambience and vibe of the restaurant was vital to convey, particularly the cultural importance of the first location in Souq Mubarakiya. The visual imagery conjured by prose juxtaposed with the camera as the viewer for digital content builds a powerful, patriotic and nostalgic story, engaging across the demographic board for everyone in Kuwait.
